Precipitation gauge mounted on Township of Falls Authority office building roof to correlate precipitation levels with monitored sewage flows. This will help the Authority determine its priorities in tackling infiltration due precipitation to its sewer pipes.

As part of its efforts to expand its excavation and infrastructure repair capabilities, the Township of Falls Authority has constructed two excavation materials bunkers at its 557 Lincoln Highway location in Fairless Hills.

All of the Authority’s hydrants undergo systematic flushing once a year to remove sediment buildup from the system and to ensure all of the hydrants are in working order.

One of the Authority’s capital improvement projects for 2019 was the upgrade of the Penns Place Sewage Lift Station. The project included two new pumps with upgraded controls and improved accessibility for future maintenance.

One of the Authority’s goals is to improve water flow through the distribution system by eliminating dead ends such as existed in the Penn Valley section of Falls Township.
